You could build a very tight 2-machine UltraMonkey configuration that
can do something like this. Both machines would serve the same
virtual domains, one machine (at a time) would hold the publicly
visible address and manage load balancing. You can strap the machines
together with a private UDP heartbeat and get something that smells a
lot like high availability.
Insert 10c for the next level of detail. VA can come up and do this
for you. So can any number of independents (Dawson..) that read this
list daily.
