Just a brief synopsis of the User Group Mega Meeting II held at the USDATA Corp headquarter's in Marloro, MA last night. All of you can be proud of the representation by the GNHLUG group. We had 7 who showed up to represent us. myself Bill Sconce Charlie Farinella Don Leslie Ben Scott Mark Komarinski Phil Motta I would say we generated interest in 12-15 people most who would be attending a Nashua Chapter meeting sometime in the future, and two who may join us at the NUN at KSC in September. We had the largest contingent of any User group, Linux or Windows there. It was a good interaction chance for us to meet the MA Linux groups and gave me the added opportunity to get started what I have wanted to accomplish this year in my Chairmanship of the GNHLUG. I have come to agreement with the Chairmen of the attending MA Linux groups to form a Chairman's council so to speak, to join together to offer vendors and people we invite to speak at any one of the NE LUGS, a coordinated effort to make presentations to more than one LUG for cost and economic sense. As this moves forward, I will keep you all informed. We were all fed Pizzas, and I do mean pizzas. There were more than 350 people who attended, there appears to have been one pizza for every two people and then there were cases upon cases of soft drinks. No went home hungry. The tour of the Data Center was an eye opener as to how the BIG BOYS play. If you know of any company looking for colocation services or needs of a full ASP server environment I would certainly recommend sending them to USDATA for a quote on services.
