People,

I just got some additional information on the NH House hearings.
It is not today. Also, the fone number I gave for rep. Peterson is wrong.
I gave his work number. The committee number is: (603) 271-3065.
Rep. Peterson's number is (603) 271-3059.
The committee has 20 members. Any written comments should
have more than 20 copies. Have a few extras for the press.
The secretary said she had received another fone call about
"the bill". On the NH General Court web site,
http://www.gencourt.state.nh.us, shows two similar bills.
Both have hearings on March 21.

At 11:15am, there is HB464 - Encouraging all state departments
to improve efficiencies with the goal of a 25 percent budget
reduction, adjusted for inflation, by 2005. It is sponsored by
James R. Splaine (d) Rockingham County, district 34.
He is not on the committee.

At 11:30, there is HB738 - establishing a commission to assess
the operating efficiency of state government.
This sounds like the one Rep. Peterson mentioned in Milford.
It is sponsored by Rep. Edward Moran (r)
and Rep. Peterson.

If you want further information, email me offlist.
