Absolutely, and the system's info is in DNS as well.

Nope, don't have one running, I have DNS on other systems (yes it's

No, it's updating the right logs at start up and shutdown.
I can connect to port 80 via telnet, but the server doesn't return
anything for some reason.
Jeff Smith mentioned to me that Debian had a major snafu with the
testing branch the other day. I'm now wondering if there's something
wrong with the networking code I have, or something else. Over the
weekend I had to completely re-install X for (at the time) no
apparently good reason.
I might just re-install everything from potato this weekend and start
from scratch. Living on the bleeding edge can be painful sometimes :)
