I might make the point that there is nothing wrong with that. In fact, I
will.
One of the things everyone -- from GNOME and KDE developers on down to the
one guy still using the original "wm" window manager -- agree on is the need
for freedom of choice and the flexibility to allow such freedom. You can use
GNOME with KDE apps. You can use KDE with GNOME apps. You can use the Amiga
look-alike window manager with GNOME and KDE apps.
Linux considers Free Will a feature. :-)
