You need your system to be DNS resolvable, otherwise Sendmail is
going to whine and complain and probably never work correctly.
Don't run as root@localhost.
Run as [EMAIL PROTECTED] if you must run as root.
Don't run as root if you don't have to. Especially when sending
e-mail. Many people filter "mail from root" into a folder they only
occasionally look at.
Running as root is just a really bad idea that you'll one day regret.
