All,
I don't know if anyone cares, but if you're like me, and someone you
love is addicted to AOL or AIM, There is hope for them! I just got AOL
itself to run on Linux using Wine. I also got the "official" AIM client
to work, but that is only important every other week when AOL decides to
shut out the native Linux clients.
Among the other things that I have running:
The Sims
WordPerfect (which is more stable than the Linux port)
Various games
What I need in order to eradicate Windows:
USB scanner support for a Canon scanner
All of the other apps can be substituted with native Linux apps.
