Sorry for the delay in posting but I have been on vacation.
I seem to recall something about only ONE network card driver configured by
the kernel in its default configuration. I may be off base, and I am not
near a linux box at the moment. The OP mentioned that the error came up with
the other linksys card in too. The other possibility is an older bios that
will not allow proper plug and play configuration of the second card.
Greg Number one: Did you try JUST the Netgear card in the machine? I run one
with RH 6.2 and it works fine.
Just some off the wall suggestions....
