Frankly, for a buck, I'd rather make a 20 minute phone call. Especially when
there's this on Price Watch:
MAXTOR EIDE 30.7GB 5400RPM, 9.0ms seek time, 512KB cache buffer, 100MB/Sec
transfer rate, ATA-5/UDMA 100.
for $77 at two different vendors: Jazz Technology, and PCLink2000.
...and for around $120.00 I can get a 40 GIG, 7200 RPM, 9 ms UDMA 100 drive
with a 2 MB cache.
Looks like Best Buy is dumping old, obsolete inventory.
