People,

I went to a conference for homeless providers this last week.
"What does this have to do with Linux?" you ask.
I took about 90 copies of a paper on using open source for
nonprofit human services providers, and my
"Linux in Business and Government" paper.
I also handed a couple of the copies to staff members
for some congresspersons. Some of the people are
already thinking in open source directions for their
software development. Others are heading toward Linux.

Just thought you'd like to know.

BTW, There were over 600 people at the conference,
and about 100 people at a HMIS (Homeless Management
Information Systems) session. If any of you are interested
in going into human services information systems, the
market is growing rapidly, both nationally, and various
places around NH.
