I'm sure it has, but yet Dell is still doing better. Saying you've
improved is great, but let's face it, Q had/has a long way to go.

Oh, please don't take this as sour grapes from the end of Alpha, from a
business point of view it was an excellent decision, and in the light of
the HP sale it makes even more sense. 

At this point in time supporting your own chip, even if you do market it
properly (Sun) is going to be difficult. Never mind spending all that
money on a product then doing your best not to tell people about.

As for Tru64 on Itanium, saying you had it three years ago is wonderful,
but where is it today? After
yesterdays announcment who is going to by Tru64? Now, do I have anything
against Tru64, no I think it's an excellent OS, and very stable, but in
the buy out HP-UX will be left standing and Tru64 will be dropped.
