It is direct now. The mail is sent from estzuken to postal. > 2. Can you manually, i.e. outside of amanda, reproduce this > problem? Yes: Mail -v amanda < log.20011019.0 # [EMAIL PROTECTED] Connecting to postal.wfd.zuken.com. via relay... 220 postal ESMTP >>> EHLO estzuken.zuken.com 250-postal Ok. 250-XVERP 250-XEXDATA 250-XSECURITY=NONE,STARTTLS 250-PIPELINING 250-8BITMIME 250-SIZE 250 DSN >>> MAIL From:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> SIZE=645737 250 Ok. >>> RCPT To:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 250 Ok. >>> DATA 354 Ok. >>> . 550-This message has 8-bit content, but does not have the required MIME 550-headers. Switching back to sendmail would be extremely difficult at this point, since most of my users are on that server already. Also, I don't see it as a major problem, since this has only happened to the Amanda reports so far. I went back into the logs, and the only e-mails that have been rejected are these. Everything else has been working great. C-Ya, Kenny -- --------------------------------------------------- Kenneth E.
