In Mandrake, if you are running X, look in the menus under Configuration,
then Packaging, for Software Manager. If at a console, type "man urpmi".

The mirror I'd use for Mandrake 8.0 packages is:

ftp://jungle.metalab.unc.edu

and the directory there is:

/pub/linux/distributions/mirror/mandrake2/Mandrake-old/8.0/i586/Mandrake/RPMS/
