Just guessing... For your outbound mail problem, be sure that your linux box's mail MTA (likely sendmail) sets it's smarthost to be the AT&T smtp server. I think I've read that they filter outbound mail and force you to use their SMTP servers. Wasn't home.com preventing mail like [EMAIL PROTECTED]? As for not downloading via POP3, something with your local DNS perhaps? From the MAC, if you "telnet your.linux.box 110" does it answer? You may want to try hitting irc. I sometime hang out in irc.openprojects.net in #linuxhelp - -marc - -- Marc Nozell <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://www.nozell.com/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE7xlXsT3JuAoZqdAwRAphUAJ0ewHEWofD5eVwZHOq+er/l/T+pQwCeOfRd +WqGakvX9mv9gqAiSaIVueY= =W2YA -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ********************************************************** To unsubscribe from this list, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the following text in the *body* (*not* the subject line) of the letter: unsubscribe gnhlug **********************************************************
