Hi all, I'm considering buying SuSE 7.3 for PPC, because it seems to be better suited for out-of-the-box use of MacOnLinux (MOL), as well as USB support, PC card slot configuration, and some other things I haven't been able to get working yet. (Things that wouldn't be a problem if I knew what recompiling meant, etc, but I need to get this stuff working so I can at least function without having to reboot into MacOS everytime I have to get 'real' work done :0)
Linuxcentral.com wants 75 bucks for it. I own a purchased copy SuSE 7.1 PPC, can I expect a break on 7.3? SuSE does NOT provide .iso files, and there won't even be ftp install support for a while since they want to sell CDs first. What other sites (or solutions) are worth checking into before slapping down the bucks for 8 CDs that I'll probably only need one or two of. Thanks. As a newbie, it sure is nice to get such fast and considerate feedback on this list. --Michael -- ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Michael L.
