Hi all,
Last week after Karl's talk, someone was asking about having an
InstallFest sometime. This would not be a New User Night, or
anything else, just a pure and simple InstallFest, where people could
bring their systems and or laptops and get some help install in Linux
onto them.
I'm thinking sometime towards the end of January, and probably
holding it on a Saturday at Martha's.
We'd obviously need some volunteers to assist with the installations.
I'm also thinking that, depending upon the level of interest, we
could have scheduled time slots (obviously I'm assuming a huge level
of interest here :) for people to sign up for ahead of time.
Since Martha's is right down stairs, we have an ample supply of
decent beer and food at close hand.
So, what d'ya say? Any interest in this?
