All, I came across a piece of equipment that I found to be interesting, and possibly usefull. It's a PCMCIA card reader that connects to a parallel port (not to be confused with a SmartCard reader). Has anyone used one of these under Linux? My next question is a little more confusing. I have a SCSI 1GB Jazz drive that I want to hook up. However, the only cable it has is SCSI on one end, and a PCMCIA SCSI card on the other. So, in theory, I think that if I connect the PCMCIA card reader to the PC, then plug the SCSI card into it, I should be able to use the Jazz drive. The question is, is it a SCSI Jazz drive, or a Parallell drive now? So, if anyone out there has ever seen a situation like this, I would appriciate some words of wisdom, such as "don't waste your time, it'll never work!".
