Well, I've not used Pine for many years now.  I know exmh will 
recognize the exec bits on a .signature file and run that as a shell 
command and use it's output for the sig.  Pine might have this option 
buried somewhere and you just need to turn it on.

The other option is right a small script which randomly places a line 
into the .signature file and have it run from cron.
