There's a package out there somewhere either called sig or signature. It's a daemon process that makes your .signature file be a named pipe. Then the daemon will provide a random sig under your control. rpmfind is down right now or I could tell you what its exact name is. -- -Time flies like the wind. Fruit flies like a banana.
