In general I have found that repairing monitors is often more then the cost of getting a good replacement monitor. For example, I have found CEC Enterprises, 25 Depot Street, Marrimack, NH, 603 424 8300, to be a really good place to locate such replacement equipment, AND they will properly dispose of your old equipment rather then sending it to a landfill.
