I'm looking for hardware that I can use to implement a watchdog timer function on any "conventional" computer, which probably involves using a PCI card but I'm considering all options including USB and custom designs. Anybody have any recommendations?
Also, does anybody have any familiarity with the watchdog config options currently available in the 2.4 kernels? I've just started looking into these and I'm currently assuming that the ones designated as "SBC" are solely for use with circuitry integrated into the various, um, SBC's that Linux runs on...
