Twice a year I buy some display space at Hoss Traders, the Ham Radio
sell-and-swap-goods-and-yarns held at Hopkinton fairgrounds. It is always
a lot of fun.
Last fall we bought four tables worth of space, and it cost:
o 4 x $35. for the space
o 4 x $10 for renting some tables
o 2 x $10 for exhibitor tickets (to let people in early)
for a total of $200, which I paid myself. We had too much room, so this
year I would recommend two tables of space, which would bring the cost down
to:
o 2 x $35. for the space
o 2 x $10. for the tables (which could be eliminated if we brought
our own 8' tables (or several smaller ones)
o 2 x $10. for tickets
for a total of $110. with tables and $90. without. I am still willing to
pay these amounts for the group, but I need to know NOW whether there will
be someone who wants to staff the booth and keep it running.
This spring the event is held on Friday May 3rd, and Saturday May 4th.
Unfortunately I will be in Brazil at that time, so I can not attend.
This is why I need to know if there is someone who wants me to do this,
otherwise I will just tell Norm that we will be skipping this one.
