Hmmm, firewall maybe? I know that 7.1 would start an ipchains ruleset
even if you said "No Firewall" during the install. I thought that had
been fixed.
And now for the obligitory security nag: use SSH with X forwarding
instead. What you're doing is turning access control off, allowing ANYONE
to run an X client on your server. There is a much better way of handling
X access, and SSH does it automagically.
Of course, if SSH isn't installed on the remote machine this might not
be an option.
