General opinions: I like browsing. A small thumbnail of a $500 product isn't going to sell me. I even went to Best Buy (which I despise) to pick up my Zaurus because they were the only ones that had them in stock. Many of the online sites are organized poorly. I went looking for a 68-pin external SCSI connector yesterday at MicroCenter, did a search, and found items named "SCSI 3 terminator" which included such features as a DB-9 connector, 68-50 pin adapter, and was great for connecting to your notebook. No picture, of course. Poor organization of what's sold where. I'm in the process of buying dual athlon 1U boxes. Just finding vendors that have them is a pain. Shipping concerns. I hate UPS, and FedEx usually requires a signature. Given I'm not home anymore, it's hard to get packages in a timely fashion, and at work, the shipping department doesn't know where I am, so packages can (and do) get lost. In general, I'll buy books and DVDs online, but even then, I'm more apt to go to Softpro or B&N than hit amazon.com. -Mark ***************************************************************** To unsubscribe from this list, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the text 'unsubscribe gnhlug' in the message body. *****************************************************************
