Hm, on the top of my head, I'm not sure what type this is. Would this be the seria known as 43P? As a starting point, if this is an mca machine, you'll not be able to run linux on it. On the other hand, not AIX 5.2 either:-). There is a matrix around on the IBM website, which details which processor types are supported (of the PCI ones). I would look at that first.
