(I responded last week, but it looks like somehow my last few messages
didn't make it to the list... strange)
For the View_Type or Console_View_Type, etc. you can use Object.innerHTML
or Object.Text. However if you are looking to have a text editor in a box,
Gnoga.Gui.Plugin.Ace_Editor which does syntax highlighting etc. I didn't
bind the entire API (but plan on it post 1.0), you can see more of it at
http://ace.c9.io/#nav=about and I used it here - http://www.gnoga.com/source I
plan on using Ace Edit in the Gnoga IDE I will be starting in a week or so.
One of the first things I will be doing is to complete the full bind to Ace
Editor.
If you need more of a full fledged rich text control or something else like
that let me know, I'll find an open one and bind that. That is the beauty
of Gnoga all things web are at our finger tips.
