I agree with Hans--I'm on Ubuntu Forums & in the new Lucid testing forum
there is a very interesting thread about Gnome Shell. For those who are

I really want 3 things--

1. A way to configure the upper panel the way I want--In my current setup, I

I do really like the direction the Shell is going, but I still see a need
for applets, a way to customize the user experience & a way to make the
