Hello, yes I am aware of the hack. I did use it for a while....but the issue
is that Zeitgeist relies on reading the recently-used.xbel
file(GtkRecentlyUsed) for Gnome Activity Journal to be able to log entries.
Hence, there is still no clean solution for the problem.
