Since the current shell notification bar will pop up if your mouse is at the bottom right corner, how about making your running apps bar pop up at the bottom left? On a different note, I just wanted to say thanks to all the GNOME shell devs, I keep trying to mouse to the upper left to switch apps. However, a couple of observations: 1) Is there a keyboard-based replacement for alt-tab/the activity button? 2) Does shell force window buttons to be on the right of the window, and if not, how can I change it back to the left?
Thanks again for this great piece of rethinking the desktop.
