actually the problem persists, a popup covers the whole bottom of the screen (and therefore docky or any app that has buttons on the bottom). my (not very good) attempts to change this have been mostly ignored ( https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=612014 ). i just gave up. as i don't use multiple workspaces, for me, gnome-shell at the moment is just the old top panel without the (good) application menu and an annoying notification system. i hope this changes with the mentioned extensions, as i really like the idea behind it. flo _______________________________________________ gnome-shell-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-shell-list
