Maybe even something like this (copied original mockup from jimmac). Mouse over the down arrow and you get apps menu superimposed over windows. Click something on the superimposed apps menu to get out or get out of the superimposed area to get rid of it (i.e. back to managing windows). Etc. PS. Obviously, not a graphics guy, so ignore that bit. -- Bojan
