Just a quick curious question: will there be a 2D fallback for Gnome Shell?
Unity has Unity 2D for the fallback interface. They're not identical, but look and work similarly. To my understanding, Gnome Shell can only fallback to Gnome panel, which is different from Gnome Shell. That could confuse users with no OpenGL supporting hardware. I supposed it would be better to have an identical 2D fallback. Koala Yeung
