Same issse one Ubuntu 12.04 with gnome-shell 3.4.1
If you set the keybinding using dconf-editor/gsettings it works. The
schema
is "org.gnome.desktop.wm.keybindings"
List available shurtcuts:
gsettings list-keys org.gnome.desktop.wm.keybindings
Set the shortcut. Keywords are <Control>, <Alt>, <Super>, for Numpad
you can use KP_0-9
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.wm.keybindings
switch-to-workspace-1 "['<Control>1']"
hope that helps

Hi all, I've problem setting shortcuts for switching to concrete
workspace. In keyboard preferences, shortcut tab in navigation section I
set ctrl+1 for switch to workspace 1, ctrl+2 for switch to workspace 2 and
so on. It doesn't work in gnome 3.4, it was OK in 3.0 and 3.2.
Am I missing something or it is a bug?
What distro are you using?
