Windows that are placed automatically (e.g. for which the application / the
user did not request a specific position) are shown on the monitor which
holds the pointer. I suppose the rational is that the pointer is an
indication for the user's current focus, so when we consider all monitors
as equals, the behavior does make sense. Obviously this is not the case for
our default mode, so I filed
