Hi, > Previously if I was logged and I ctrl+alt+f1, gdm would offer to unlock > my session. This was misleading since my session was not really locked. > I could ctrl+alt+f3 and continue working. So would you like the screen to automatically lock if the user switches away from the current VT? I can see how that would be more secure, but also might get frustrating for a single user who's using tty's and switching back and forth a lot. See also Owen's mail to desktop-devel-list about making gnome easier to debug and develop for. So not sure...

Definitely not intentional, it's a bug. I've filed it here: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=753181 Thanks. _______________________________________________ gnome-shell-list mailing list gnome-shell-list@gnome.org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-shell-list
