I have started to think seriously about implementing quartertone
support in LilyPond. The font extensions are done (that was the
easy part), what's left is the program.

Here's my current view of what needs to be done:
- the shift values for all notes are multiplied by 2 (trivial)
- the engraver must be adapted to this change, and must know
  about the quartertones
- the performer must be adapted to the new definitions, and
in a second (less urgent) step must be able to produce quartertone
MIDI files using pitch bending commands

Now my questions to those who know the code better than I do:
1) Is there anything I have overlooked?
2) Which source code file contains the part of the engraver
   that deals with accidentals?

Konrad.
