Well, do it the UNIX-way: don't invent the wheel, if there are already
dozens out there. I use:
gcc -E -P -nostdinc -x c -traditional
to generate my html files. The same can be used, I suppose, for
preprocessing lily files. You can then use -DOBOE or -DTROMBOSE to
obtain the one or other variant. Well, I have to check, whether this '#'
scheme-syntax can bite you in the leg... shouldn't with -traditional,
however.
One could use also m4...
