In my opinion, the example Han-Wen posted does space according to the
musical weight usefully better than what I get now. I'll be glad to
use it now that it's available.
I much prefer Lily's arithmetic spacing (log duration is the way I
think of it) to geometric - don't put in a geometric option for me!
And, an erratic (that is, not related to musical weight or structure)
spacing such as Werner describes is harder to sight read - Scarlatti
is difficult enough to read as it is.
