This is normal.  It's the way I used to guarantee that the paths in
the executable matched the paths given to "make install".  However,
I've recently rewritten all this so that you don't need to recompile
at install time.  Now the rutime paths are fixed by the call to
./configure, and make install-opt is gone.  The configure flag
--with-opt-style-install has taken its place.

Unfortunately, I haven't had time to get the patch together, and I
probably won't for a couple more days...
