I didn't know about it either. I thought I was subscribed to
debian-gtk-gnome, but apparently I wasn't. It's been discussed there.
It's a region for getting all the new gnome/gtk stuff stabilized
together before pushing it into unstable. You can get packages from
it by just adding one /etc/apt/sources.list line. See
http://www.debian.org/~jim/debian-gtk-gnome/ for details.

(Again, be careful going to glibc 2.1 The transition's not ironed out
yet. You could have serious problems.)

Oops, sorry about that. I forgot to mention that I did have this bug,
but downloading the guile source packages, recompiling them, and
installing the resulting .debs fixed the problem. In case you haven't
done that before:

  mkdir tmp-guile-build
  cd tmp-guile-build
  lftp ftp.debian.org/pub/debian/dists/unstable/main/source/interpreters/ \
    -c "mget -c guile-core*.deb"

or

  wget -c

"ftp://ftp.debian.org/pub/debian/dists/unstable/main/source/interpreters/guile-core*"

and then

  dpkg-source -x guile-core*.dsc
  cd guile-core-1.3
  fakeroot debian/rules binary
  sudo dpkg -i ../*.deb

and you should be ready to go...

Hope this helps.
