This is taken from gnucash README file, it lists the working versions of
lesstif:
-----------------------------------------------------------
Important Note:
---------------
Core dumps have been reported when using various
versions of lesstif. Some versions work, others don't.
Lesstif 0.81: works
Lesstif 0.82: broken
Lesstif 0.86.0: works
Lesstif 0.86.5: broken
Lesstif 0.86.9 works ... but some menus come out 2 pixels high.
Lesstif 0.87.0: broken (missing symbols for XmeDrawShadows, etc.)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I installed lestiff about a year ago, if I'm not mistaken version 0.86.0.
It works well since than. I cannot recomend a rpm version, since I
compiled it. I also compiled xacc-1.0.18, and not installed it by RPM.
As far as I know, lesstif is the only lib required by xacc-1.0.18. (XmHTML
is contained in the source code, an staticaly linked in the executable)
On my system, RH5.1, xacc-1.0.18 compliled without problems and it works
fine for 8 months now.
best regards,
alex.
