Definitely.  But first, it'd be good to determine if QIF files have
any internal mechanism for specifying the currency.

Does anybody on the list have a Canadian version of Quicken?  I'd like
to see what a QIF file using Canadian dollars looks like.

Is it likely that QIF data will be in anything other than USD and
Canadian?
