There are now, no unresolved dependancies.
/usr/local/lib/libiberty.a contains asprintf, so
vi /src/motif/Makefile and added -liberty to it,
and got past that. I can't remeber which gnu
package compiles up libiberty but I think it
was fileutils?
In gnucash.c changed stpcpy
to strcpy and got past that. Now for the real
hack job, still can't get setenv to work, so changed
it to putenv and changed the parms from (variable, variable,1)
to (variable) on both lines, and got past that.
On install, can't find gnucash.so, so a simple #, got past that.
./gnucash, can't find sort, fine, touch sort, can't find, pp,
fine, touch pp, then can't open display.
That one's easy, left console login and went into Solaris
CDE, and then typed gnucash, and got a file open dialog box.
Hit cancel, and the rest of the display comes up. Not sure
how much damage I've done to the program, but I can
finally get a display. If I get time this weekend, I'll try
to assess the damage.
thanks to all,
alan
