Ok, I didn't know that.  The last version I used was Redhat 4.2?
I think.  I'll get around to trying it again sometime soon.  I need
a bigger hard disk.  I'm out of space with just Windows and
Solaris.  Solaris does suck up a lot of disk space for a full install,
and Windows NT beta isn't on a diet either.  My 2 GB's just
seems pathetic at times. :-)

At the time I was trying to load up 4 OS's, all in primary partitions
and Linux taking up two, was, well, wierd.  Guess I should buy
a book and at least read up on it some more.

I don't want to start an OS war, but I do thank you for the info
and for all the great help in getting Gnucash to compile.
