Does the .xac file exist at all? If it does, I think it probably did do
the save successfully. I've noticed that gnucash will sometimes give you
the save dialog when you quit even if you haven't made any changes since
the last save. Check the modification time on your .xac file to see if
it really was saved. In any case, it might be nice to have a "Save
successful" dialog. Its always nice to give the user feedback.
