You need to set the register to "Multi-Line."  Then you get an extra
line for entering a split.  Everytime you add a split it adds another
line.  At least this is how enter splits.  Someone want to show me
another way.

Which leads me to a bug report.  If you add a few transactions in a
split, then delete one of them the register doesn't "register" the
change.  I think this might be from going from a two transaction split,
back to a single transaction.  I will have to test it a bit more.

I do not believe anyone is working on this right now.  There was just a
lot of discussion on how we might want to implement such a beast.

There is no support for printing yet.  I am sure that is something we
will want to add...

Its good to hear that people are starting to have success with Gnucash. 
I myself just started using the Gnome version because Rob's previous
email about his successes.  I am very happy with it... very... very
happy with it.
