I find 'Rebate' fairly inappropriate for a prepaid expense.

I think conventional accounting notation is less confusing in the long
run.  How about a one-line hint at the top of each account suggesting the
typical entry type?

Of course, it's your program.  I'm just trying to make some suggestions as
a potential user.
