would it be possible to compile me up a _completely static_ version of
all of the gnucash's on the ftp site?

I tried the gnucash.motif binary, but it is looking for a guile which
I don't have.  I am running gnucash.gnome myself, from cvs.

Also, I couldn't compile the cvs motif version, bug report coming in
later.
