        Notes: eric,

I just created two accounts, one cash, and one bank. I added three
transactions to the cash account, adding 100 to each of them. this left
me 300 in the cash account. i wrote a check for 54 dollars from the bank
account, putting me 54 dollars in the hole.

i transferred 154 dollars from the cash account to the bank account, and
i did not get a segfault.

in light of this success, I am moving this bug to 'fixed'.

also, there is a new version of gnucash, 1.2.5, out as of a couple of days
ago. if you are still having this problem with the motif version, please let
me know, and I will be glad to re-open this bug report.

When transfering from one account to another in order to achieve an even $100
balance
it yields a balance of 99.100. yes, three decimals. Say you write checks on
account A
for $213, giving a balance of say, -$54.00. This problem arises when
transfering $154.00
from another account (B) to A. This error doesn't go away with aditional
transactions.
