While following up on another PR, I found a drop down list box which
had "split" listed in it. however, I cannot find a simple way to do a
2 for 1, a 1 for 2, a 4 for 1, or an x for y.
What I did was to perform two transactions. the first one, "2 for 1
split, part 1", was to sell all stock, at current price. The second
one, "2 for 1 split, part 2" was to buy all stock, at double the
number of shares and half the price.
I would like to see the third line of a multiview for stocks be the
"split line", where you have one which is a "original shares" and
another one which is "new shares". the calculations could be done on
these fields, and the "price", "value", "total shares" columns would
be locked down.
